Lost Art of Listening

Course Description

How is your listening life? Do you make time for stillness? Time where you can hear from the Lord? Time spent in His presence?
I’ve spent years fine tuning my ears to the voice of God and I continue to tune them everyday. It’s brought so much revelation, so many answers, so many songs, and so much peace to my life. I’ve written this material because I realized that the practice, discipline and history of listening has, overtime, become a lost art. What do I mean by art? I mean, “a skill at doing a specified thing, typically one acquired through practice”.
I’ve searched, read many books and articles, had many conversations and have done a lot of listening and scribing for many years and now I am honored to share that information with you.
The tools, historical accounts, and scriptures that I will present throughout these 16 weeks have brought a lot of freedom and clarity to my own relationship with the Lord. I know they can do that for you too. Are you willing to dive deep with me? To slow down? To stop doubting your ears and start hearing on a new level? Then join me on this journey of all things listening. We will explore the art of listening and discover something so old it’s new. We will define listening as a discipline, talk through styles of listening to find our unique ways of listening and tune our ears to hearing the voice of God as we build our own listening toolkits.
Let’s dive in and see what we can uncover.
