Course Description
In this class, you’ll take part in a variety of activities like team sports, fitness challenges, and games that help you build strength, coordination, and overall health. We’ll also learn about sportsmanship, setting goals, and how to stay active in ways that work best for you. The goal is to help you stay healthy, gain confidence, and find types of physical activity you enjoy.
This course counts for high school PE credit, and you’ll have the chance to earn the Presidential Physical Fitness Award.
Homework Expectation
3 days of regular exercise will need to be tracked and recorded each week.
Resources
No materials are required for this class, but students may want to bring a change of clothes. All clothing must follow DeBorde Academy’s dress code.
