Course Description
This course is a high-school biology class, including labs and dissections. Students will study biology by examining life and organisms through the taxonomies. Additionally, special attention is given to cell theory, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, genetics, and creationism versus evolution. Class time is devoted to the explanation and exploration of difficult concepts, hands-on activities, and labs. Homework includes textbook reading, chapter comprehension questions, and skill-based activities.
Homework Expectation
Academic Subject: 2-4 hours a week, depending upon the student’s science background and speed of work.
